ASME A17.1 2019 Compliant Camera Solution

ASME A17.1-2019 / CSA B44.1-2019 Elevator Emergency Communication code update requires video and two-way texting from inside the elevator to the remote security monitoring station in addition to traditional 2-way audio communication. The 2019 ASME/CSA code has been adopted in several states in the US and is planned to be adopted in more states in the US and provinces in Canada in 2022. In addition to ASME A17.1-2019/CSA B44.1-2019, IBC 3001.2 2018 code also requires video communication and two-way texting for deaf, hard of hearing, and speech impaired.
